This session covers the basics in creating/maintaining databases and companies from start to finish. You will learn how to develop best practices with access rights and internal controls. We will share menu maintenance tips and tricks, how to improve role based experiences, and transaction import capabilities. Gain understanding of File attach and Quick Send AND navigate through report control maintenance capabilities during this administrative techniques session.

Learning Objectives: In this session, participants will gain comprehension of the Dynamics SL system and recognize the many capabilities available to them. They will understand how to administer a Dynamics SL system including how to restrict access rights to sensitive information and enforce internal controls. Attendees will also learn about data management and protection.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Effectively navigate the system
  • Manage system access utilizing role based settings and menus
  • Comprehend how to edit and setup menus
  • Understand who can get access to data in the system
  • Utilize assignment of access rights to users and groups to enforce internal controls
